Q. What would you suggest as some good journals and or books about Managers and Motivation?

First of all, check out out Help me search databases page for good search tips.

Two good databases to use might be Academic Search Premier and Business Search Premier.

Secondly, I would recommend that you start searching the databases using these search terms--feel free to mix and match as needed and add in secondary terms as you wish:

employee motivation

instrinsic motivation

communication in management

organizational effectiveness

motivation in the workplace

organizational behavior
