Do you have any records concerning Miss Hattie Strother who was the Dean of Women in the 1930s?

I have just discovered that my ancestor, Hattie Strother, was the Dean of Women at Central Baptist College in 1931. I am not sure how long she was in that position. I would like to know the years she was there and see if there are any records (like yearbooks or newpapers) that mention her.

Hi, Ms. Downs.

Currently, we are just starting our work in the archives, sorting through everything--paper, A/V, etc. We have not located anything that mentions your ancestor, however, I will retain your contact information and reach out to you when/if we do.

Have you reached out to Ouachita Baptist University yet? I know that they retain some Central College materials in their archives.

Thank you,

Crystal Long, MLIS
